App Store Privacy Summary
NeverGone does not sell your personal information and has no current plans to do so. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We use information to provide your Persona experience, support relevant memories and conversation continuity, and operate and improve the app. This summary describes our app privacy practices. The Privacy Policy provides additional details and explains your choices.
1. Information We Collect and Use
Depending on the features you use, we collect account and contact information; messages, journals, photos, audio, transcripts, and other uploads; memories and Persona context; connections and sharing choices; device, diagnostic, and usage information; and subscription, communication, and support records.
We collect information from you, through your use of the app, and from services you connect or providers that help operate the app. We use it to provide and personalize features, manage accounts and subscriptions, support users, improve performance, communicate according to your preferences, protect the Services, and meet legal obligations. Apple processes App Store payments.
2. AI Processing Requires Your Permission
The app identifies our AI providers and explains what is shared before asking you to select "Agree and continue." Accepting the Terms or reading a privacy policy does not grant this permission. You can decline and sign out. Device permissions are separate.
- OpenAI processes messages, journals, photos and accompanying text, relevant memories, conversation history, and Persona details to generate text replies, understand photos, create titles and summaries, and organize and retrieve memory context.
- LiveKit provides voice connection and agent infrastructure. It processes voice audio and session information; the hosted agent handles transcripts and relevant conversation context.
- SpaceXAI LLC (Grok) processes voice audio, transcripts, and relevant conversation and Persona context to generate voice replies.
Completed voice exchanges may be saved as text and processed for history, memories, and summaries. Eligible offline content may sync after you reconnect and provide the required permission.
NeverGone does not use your personal content to train generalized shared AI models for unrelated users.
We require service providers receiving personal information from NeverGone to provide the same or equal protection described in our Privacy Policy and required by Apple's App Review Guidelines. Their processing is subject to applicable agreements and data-protection obligations.
AI-sharing permission is limited to the features and purposes described in our Privacy Policy. It does not authorize providers to sell personal information, use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or train generalized shared AI models for unrelated users. It does not waive privacy rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
3. Sharing and Analytics
We disclose information to service providers that operate the app, people and services you authorize, and for the legal, security, and business-transfer purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
Private memories support your own Persona; Public memories are eligible for authorized Contact Persona use under your sharing settings. Raw journals remain owner-only. Product analytics and activity-based marketing do not include conversation, journal, memory, or uploaded-media content. We do not use cross-app or cross-site advertising tracking.
Separate services you use independently have their own privacy practices for information you give them directly. Personal information NeverGone sends to providers to operate the app remains subject to our Privacy Policy and our obligations under applicable law.
4. Retention, Deletion, and Consent Withdrawal
We retain information as reasonably needed to provide the Services and meet legal and operational obligations. Account deletion removes or de-identifies personal information from active systems within a commercially reasonable period, subject to the limited retention and backup exceptions explained in the Privacy Policy.
To delete your account, open Settings in the NeverGone app, choose About, then tap Delete Account. For help or to withdraw AI-processing permission, email info@nevergone.ai. You can sign out to stop sending new content while your request is handled. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete stored information or cancel processing already submitted. Account deletion does not cancel your App Store subscription.
5. Changes and Contact
NeverGone is for people aged 13 and older. Users below the age of majority where they live need a parent or legal guardian's consent to use NeverGone, including consent before using AI features, as explained in our Privacy Policy and Terms.
A new AI provider requires renewed permission before receiving your personal information. Any proposed future sale or materially different commercial use would require advance explanation and the notices, consent, and choices required by applicable law and Apple's rules. This summary does not authorize such a future practice.
